Review by Neil Patterson

Caroline is the 1984 album by the American rock band Jefferson Starship. The album showcases the band's ability to blend rock, pop, and new wave sounds into a cohesive and energetic collection of songs.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "We Built This City," which became one of the band's biggest hits. Other standout tracks include the driving rock anthem "Sara," the synth-heavy "Tomorrow Doesn't Matter Tonight," and the haunting ballad "Desperate Heart."

Lead vocalist Mickey Thomas delivers powerful and emotive performances throughout the album, while the rest of the band provides solid instrumentation and memorable hooks.
