Belgian singer (1946-1979)
Harry Herman, born as Harry Hermans in Leuven on January 10, 1946 and died in Lubbeek on July 20, 1979, was already on the stage in 1960, at the age of only 14, first under the name Tony Rigaldi. His career got a head start thanks to his participation in the Grand International Variété prize 1963-1964 from Radio Luxemburg. In the 1965 Flemish Schlager Festival, Harry reached the final with "Kijk me niet meer in de ogen"
With the producer, deejay and entertainer Fred Steyn from Tienen as manager, he also participated in the BRT song competition Canzonissima in 1968. None of his three songs made it to the final, but "De trein" was a big hit. He got a lot of work with his orchestra "The New Six
