Erl Dalby's latest album, Send Susanna Home, is a mesmerizing collection of songs that showcase his undeniable talent as a singer-songwriter. The record is a medley of folk and country music, with a dash of blues and rock thrown in for good measure.

The album's opener, "Send Susanna Home," sets the tone for what's to come. It's a haunting ballad that tells the story of a woman who's been wronged and is now seeking revenge. The haunting melody and Dalby's soulful voice make for a captivating listen.

The album's standout track, "The Whiskey Won't Drown My Sorrow," is a melancholic ballad that's both beautiful and heart-wrenching. Dalby's voice is raw and emotive, and the lyrics are poignant and relatable.

About Erl Dalby

Erl Dalby (Erle Montaigue) began his music career in 1965 and had his first chart topping record in 1970, Cant Wait For September, a Vanda/Young composition. In 1972 Erl sang the Judas part on the first Australian EMI recording of Jesus Christ Superstar. After a few more mild successes, he disappeared from the music scene when he decided to leave Australia for the UK to get into acting in 1973. Since his departure Glenn A Baker has called him the mystery man of Aussie rock. Erl died in 2011 after an apparent heart attack.
