Eartha Kitt With Henri René And His Orchestra - The Heel My Hearts Delight

Review by Woliul Hasan

Eartha Kitt's album, The Heel My Heart's Delight, is a delightful and sultry collection of songs that showcase her unique vocal style. Backed by Henri René and his Orchestra, the album features a variety of classic tunes, including "I Want to Be Evil" and "C'est Si Bon."

Kitt's voice is the star of the album, with her distinctive purr and playful delivery adding a sense of mischief and sensuality to each track. René's arrangements are equally impressive, with lush strings and jazzy horns providing the perfect backdrop for Kitt's vocals.

One standout track is "Let's Do It," a Cole Porter classic that Kitt infuses with her trademark sass and humor. The album also features several French-language songs, which Kitt handles with ease and grace.
