Dr Sure's Unusual Practice - The West

Dr Sure's Unusual Practice has released an album titled The West, which is a perfect blend of rock, country, and folk music. The album consists of 10 tracks that showcase the band's versatility in terms of music style and lyrics.
The opening track, "Ride the Wind," sets the tone for the album with its upbeat tempo and catchy chorus. The lyrics are about chasing after dreams and making the most of life. The next track, "The West," is a nostalgic tribute to the American West with its twangy guitar riffs and storytelling lyrics.
The album also features slower, more introspective tracks like "Lonely Road" and "The Way It Goes," which showcase the band's softer side. "Lonely Road" is a beautiful ballad about missing someone while "The Way It Goes" is a poignant reflection on the ups and downs of life.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Gunslinger," a fast-paced, foot-stomping song with a rebellious edge. The lyrics are about standing up for what you believe in and not backing down from a fight.

A stream of consciousness compendium akin to scrolling the endless feed; satirising news and current affairs, spouting click-bait opinion pieces and denouncing oppressive power structures. Appearing on the Melbourne scene fully formed in November 2018, Dr Sure's Unusual Practice have been busy in their short lifespan - releasing 3 singles, 3 video clips, and now heading on their 3rd tour for 2019 - with their signature wonky, groove-based post-punk. The band have developed a strong audio-visual relationship through the surrealist video clips which have accompanied each single, a series that is set to continue across the 10 track album.
