The Diplomats' latest album Last Chance is a solid addition to their discography. The Harlem-based hip-hop group, consisting of members Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey, delivers 10 tracks that showcase their signature style of gritty rhymes and hard-hitting beats.
The album opens with the track "Intro," which sets the tone for the rest of the project with its ominous production and menacing lyrics. From there, the group continues to showcase their prowess on tracks like "By Any Means" and "Dipset Forever."
One standout track is "Uptown," which features a sample of the classic hip-hop track "Juicy" by The Notorious B.I.G. The Diplomats pay homage to their roots in Harlem and deliver some of their most memorable bars on this track.
Another highlight is "On God," which features a guest verse from fellow New York rapper Belly. The track has a more melodic feel than some of the other songs on the album, but still maintains the group's trademark grit.
