Only Guitar by David Qualey is a mesmerizing album that showcases the musician's exceptional talent on the guitar. The album features ten tracks, each of which highlights Qualey's mastery of the instrument and his ability to create beautiful, intricate melodies.
From the opening track, "Santa Cruz," to the closing song, "Café Vienna," Qualey's playing is both technically impressive and emotionally evocative. His fingerstyle technique is particularly impressive, with each note ringing out crystal clear and perfectly timed.
The album features a mix of original compositions and covers, including Qualey's take on the classic tune "Greensleeves." However, regardless of whether he's playing his own music or someone else's, Qualey imbues each song with his own unique style and flair.
