Review by Subodh K. Tripathi

1928 1933 by Damia is a classic album that showcases the French singer's exceptional vocal range and emotive performances. The album features a collection of popular songs from the 1920s and 1930s that are expertly interpreted by Damia, who brings her own unique style and flair to each track.

From the opening track, "Mon Coeur Est Un Violon," to the hauntingly beautiful "Les Goelands," Damia's voice is powerful and captivating. Her ability to convey a range of emotions, from joy and passion to heartbreak and despair, is truly impressive.

The album also features some of France's most celebrated musicians of the era, including Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, who provide exquisite accompaniment to Damia's vocals.
