Review by Jim Burnett

Cosmonauts Cover The Clash is a tribute album that features the California-based garage rock band Cosmonauts covering some of the most iconic songs by punk rock legends The Clash. The album is a refreshing take on the classic tracks, with the band infusing their own style and energy into each song.

The album opens with a high-energy rendition of "Safe European Home," with the band's gritty guitar riffs and pounding drums setting the tone for the rest of the album. The Cosmonauts' version of "London Calling" is a standout track, with its distorted guitar and driving bassline creating a sense of urgency that perfectly captures the rebellious spirit of the original.

Throughout the album, the band pays homage to The Clash while also putting their own stamp on the songs. "I'm So Bored with the USA" is given a psychedelic twist, while "Magnificent Seven" is transformed into a trippy, psychedelic jam.
