"The Twist" has the sole recognition of being the ONLY RECORD EVER TO REACH #1 TWICE on the Billboard Hot 100 charts - both in 1960 AND 1962!!!! In 2008, Chubby's "Twist" was named "THE BIGGEST CHART HIT OF ALL TIME" by Billboard Magazine. To his own dismay, Ernest Evans (real name) was never elected into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, reducing that institution to little more than a meaningless farce. #rockandrollhalloffame
