An obscure Italian fusion band, established sometime after 2000, influenced by Canterbury, European and American jazz-fusion styles of the 1970's, sometimes comparable to older Italian bands Perigeo and Living Life.
Catasto Elettrico releases first appeared on the web via the Elastic Rock blog site in 2007. The Catasto blog says: The group never recorded a true record, except for the self-produced vinyl Modern Jazz Sessions - which is about as close to any factual info we get on them. It also lists the members as: Francesco Groggia - bass, Renato Trevisani - drums, Alessandro Groggia - keyboards, devices. It is said that "Trio" was old recordings. However, no dates or other info is given on any of their releases.
As all other web sources cut and paste text from the Catasto Elettrico site, it's impossible to establish an actual history. Most of their albums seem to be web only releases, free to download. They are also widely traded as CDr's, and bootleg versions also exist for sale at record fairs.
