Review by Victoria Jaczko, Joyner

Buzzcocks' "Are Everything Why Shes A Girl From The Chain Store" is a classic punk rock album that showcases the band's raw energy and catchy melodies. Released in 1980, the album features some of the band's best-known songs, including "Why She's a Girl from the Chainstore," "You Say You Don't Love Me," and "I Don't Know What to Do with My Life."

The album's sound is characterized by its fast-paced drumming, driving basslines, and distorted guitar riffs, all of which come together to create a sound that is both aggressive and melodic. The lyrics are often introspective, dealing with themes of love, loss, and alienation, but they are delivered with a sense of urgency and passion that is typical of the punk rock genre.

I had the honour to see them playing in Vancouver... few months after Pete was dead. It was probably one of the last show they played in Canada. Anyway... I've never really cared about this song until I've heard it live. I was fucking mesmerizing... how powerful, how sad, how intense it was to hear it live. Focking good times, since then one of my fave Buzzcocks' songs
Absolutely marvellous!!
the cashier anthem
I love this. I never really think of Buzzcocks songs having videos. Pete's mam and dad are in there, apparently.

I almost shat myself when I saw a flyer of them opening for Nirvana. Lol
