Review by Rui Banganho

Bonded by Blood's album, The Aftermath, is a thrilling addition to the thrash metal genre. The band's energy and technical prowess are on full display throughout the album's 10 tracks, which feature lightning-fast riffs, pounding drums, and blistering solos.

From the opening track, "I Can't Hear You," Bonded by Blood grabs the listener's attention with its relentless pace and aggressive vocals. The band continues to deliver high-octane thrash with songs like "The Evil Within" and "Prototype Death Machine," which showcase the band's ability to seamlessly blend melody and aggression.

The Aftermath also features some standout tracks, such as the epic "Among the Vultures," which features soaring guitar solos and a memorable chorus. "Show No Fear" is another standout, with its catchy riff and anthemic chorus sure to get crowds headbanging.

Summary by Rui Banganho

The Aftermath is a must-listen for fans of thrash metal. Bonded by Blood has delivered a solid album that showcases the band's technical skill and energy, and is sure to leave listeners wanting more.

Comments

The band's third and final album contains only four members (two new), and after its release, the band was dropped out from Earache Records for lack of sales. It's not abnormal, considering that they were never that much original or convincing to stand against Evile, Warbringer and Municipal Waste. Some of the cuts feature Drop G#-tuned seven-string guitars, but for the rest, the band's Hardcore/Thrash Metal style remains unchanged, excluding a final cover of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name", just to prove that the bandmembers aren't "metal purists".
The fuck down voted this
Yeah not a bad band
holy wars rip off
Since the dawn of time we've been
At their mercy falling to every plague
Vicious vermin with the stench of rot
They have thrived on human waste
Infection spreading disease baring
They're lurking in our foundation
The epidemic takes control
And nearly destroys us all
No protection from infection
No way to escape
The curse of skaven has followed humans
To anywhere they live
Spread the disgust as they multiply
Our world belongs to them
Resilient creatures with demon-like features
Thriving and feeding as we sleep
Imperialistic animal instincts
Engulfing the world in flames

Bare the plague of vermin rage
Shepherds of rot come to claim
Rats are storming disaster forming
Shepherds of rot rise again
Anthropomorphic clan of pestilence
A rabid chaotic race
Weaponizing a new disease as they
Please the great lord of wrath
With nails and teeth and flesh and bone
All enemy will be overthrown
There's no point to reason
With malevolent gods
They just do as they're told
Until everything's gone
Bare the plague of the vermin rage
Shepherds of rot come to claim
Rats are storming disaster forming
Shepherds of rot rise again
Spilling from out of the sewage
The wrath of a new age
Upon us as dark descends
Crumbling the former foundation
Of civilization is left in disarray
Spilling from out of the sewage
The wrath of a new age
Upon us as dark descends
Crumbling the former foundation
Of civilization as left in disarray
I love this song too, btw!! -Mike m/ "No time to hold.. your junk!" m/

What do you expect it's bonded by blood ><
their worst album :S
Their first album was easily their best imo, but the vocals got better as time went on. Heavier sounding here.
OMG. What a very uninspired song...
