Bing Crosby - Hey Jude Hey Bing

Review by Dapo Adesanya

Hey Jude Hey Bing is a delightful album by the legendary crooner Bing Crosby. Released in 1969, it features Crosby's signature smooth vocals and charming style. The album includes covers of popular songs such as "Hey Jude" by The Beatles, "Little Green Apples" by Roger Miller, and "Gentle on My Mind" by John Hartford.

What sets Hey Jude Hey Bing apart from other Crosby albums is the inclusion of contemporary songs. Crosby's interpretation of "Hey Jude" is particularly noteworthy, as he adds his own touch to the iconic track. The album also features a duet with Rosemary Clooney on "Something" by George Harrison, which is a highlight for fans of both artists.

From this hardcore Bing fan - his musicality was present in everything he did, to the very end.
I think you'd need to be a hardcore Bing fan to have any positive opinion of this.
Thanks for sharing! This album is full of personal memories for me!

*******
The real fifth Beatle.
Such a great version! Bing was one of the best singers from the 40's, if not the best. Such a star in pop music history.

Although, I like Paul's vocals and backing vocals of the Beatles than it. But the instrumentation is great in this one.

The Beatles being covered and admired by musicians such as Aretha Franklin, Ozzy Ousborne, Kurt Cobain, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Bing Crosby is one of many reasons they are the GODS of popular music.
Bad copy, it does sound a hell of a lot better than this!
It's a jewel???????
singing ok... arrangement horrible
I've known he covered it for years but just now got around to check it out
Bing could sing anything.
John Lennon loved Bing Crosby. "Please, Please, Me" derided from Crosby's "Please My Little Ears." Bing is rumored to smoking weed. Maybe old Bingy Boy tuned in, turned on and dropped out with The Beatles!
