Manolis Samiotis' latest album, "O Thodoris O Kareklas Gia Mena To Paliopaido," is a tribute to the legendary Greek singer, Thodoris Kareklas. The album features 12 tracks, all of which are covers of Kareklas' most popular songs.
The album opens with "To Paliopaido," a classic song that has been covered by many Greek artists over the years. Samiotis' version is faithful to the original, with his unique voice adding a fresh twist to the track. The album continues with "Ola Ta Poulia," "Etsi Einai Oi Anthropoi," and "O Dromos," all of which are standout tracks on the album.
Samiotis' voice is the highlight of the album. His smooth, soulful vocals are a perfect match for Kareklas' timeless songs. The instrumentation on the album is also impressive, with traditional Greek instruments such as the bouzouki and the baglama adding a traditional touch to the tracks.
