With older siblings, I grew up with The Lovin' Spoonful version - and then, this filtered into my 14 year old ears. Loved it: wore out the grooves of the 7" ?

Got the 12" summer in the city. Bought it from an actual independent record shop. Played it for the whole of the summer of 83. Just played it on my stereo and still sound the mutts. Thanks for the memories
I saw u supporting Gary Numan , thought u were fab (still do) then I met u in The Brunnel Rooms, in Swindon, where my cousin and his friend used to do robotic dancing, not sure you'll remember them? But u gave them a lot of your time that night and it was one of my best memories from the early 80's, so thank u...?
Saw them yonks ago supporting Gary Numan (I think!). Superb. One of the best support acts.
