Review by Mona Bernardo

Fever by Ted Heath and His Music is a classic album that showcases the band's exceptional talent and mastery of swing music. Released in 1958, the album features a selection of popular jazz and swing tunes that are sure to get listeners tapping their feet and nodding their heads.

From the opening track, "Opus One," to the closing number, "Skyliner," the album is a non-stop barrage of swinging rhythms, catchy melodies, and virtuosic solos. Ted Heath's arrangements are tight and precise, with every instrument in the band contributing to the overall sound.

The album's title track, "Fever," is a standout, with its sultry saxophone and trumpet solos and infectious groove. Other highlights include "Sophisticated Lady," "Take the A Train," and "Tuxedo Junction," all of which showcase the band's versatility and skill.
