Slam's latest album, Maffaking Last Sonic Approach, has been making waves in the techno music scene. The Scottish duo, Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle, have created an electrifying collection of tracks that showcase their signature style of techno.
The album's opening track, "Pantera," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its pulsating beats and distorted synths. The energy doesn't let up from there, with tracks like "Dead Dog Bounce" and "My Machine 909" delivering driving rhythms and hypnotic melodies.
Slam also experiments with different sounds and textures on this album, as evidenced by the haunting vocals on "Synchronize" and the atmospheric soundscape of "Vortex."

About Slam
DJ and producer duo from Glasgow, Scotland. Co-founders of and promoters of the Atlantis (1989-92) & Slam (1991-) parties in Glasgow.
They met in 1986 in Sheffield, where Orde was studying Geography at university and Stuart was working in a bar.
The name of the band has been inspired from Phuture's legendary track.
