Review by Rebeca Melo

The album Symphony No15 Violin Concerto No2 by Shostakovich, David Oistrakh, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Kirill Kondrashin is a masterpiece of classical music. The album features two of Shostakovich's most celebrated works, performed by some of the most talented musicians of the time.

The first track of the album, Symphony No15, is a complex and haunting piece of music that showcases Shostakovich's skill as a composer. The Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Kirill Kondrashin, delivers a flawless performance, capturing the emotional intensity of the piece.

The second track, Violin Concerto No2, features the incredible talent of David Oistrakh on the violin. Oistrakh's virtuosity is on full display in this piece, as he navigates the intricate melodies with ease. The Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra once again delivers a stunning performance, providing the perfect backdrop for Oistrakh's solo.
