Matt Woodlawn, is techno the one genre of electronic music that isn't allowed to change or grow or something? This is minimal techno, period.

Don't mean to be a genre nazi, but this is basic-channel style dub techno, through and through. Has nothing to do with dubstep or "breakbeat." I guess unless that's all you know and think therefore everything has to be compared to it.

I suppose Landscapes & Machines by P. Laoss is one that stands out the most of all the ones I've heard. I've just heard 4 or 5 dub techno albums and there's hardly diversity among them. For that reason, dub techno is one of my least favorite techno genres.
