The album If He Would Care There Comes A Time by Sandy and Sally is a beautifully crafted collection of songs that will leave listeners feeling both nostalgic and inspired. The duo's harmonies are nothing short of stunning, weaving together seamlessly to create a sound that is both haunting and uplifting.

From the opening track, "If He Would Care," to the closing number, "There Comes A Time," Sandy and Sally deliver a masterful performance that showcases their talent as both singers and songwriters. Each track is imbued with a sense of emotional depth and sincerity, making it easy for listeners to connect with the lyrics and the stories they tell.

One standout track on the album is "Broken Dreams," which features a haunting melody and lyrics that explore the pain and sadness of lost love. Another highlight is "Gone Too Soon," a moving tribute to loved ones who have passed away.

To 005jonnybeez: to the best of my knowledge those weren't wigs, in fact I remember Sandy mentioning on one of the specials that Mr.Welk was not happy at the time they'd cut their long hair. I think they were just trying to look mod and with it for the times. Much preferred their longer styles though myself.
the redhead woman looks like my mother! I always loved Sandy, she was a great singer, Redheads rule! and I am also a redhead too! :)
Terrific song! Puts a smile to my face!

Do you know what was the name of record label that released the single?
I really like this rendition of this song....but can't find a recording. I'll keep looking.
They're hot.
@ahoneanatwo They are listed as "Sandy and Sally" on the label and it's Capitol 5794.
This song is terrific, I can't believe it didn't sell a million copies! I loved Sandi and Sally on the Welk show, they were one of my favourite acts, I love those tight harmonies, and they were always tasteful and presented themselves so well, even when they appered on shows other than the Welk show.
You're welcome, thanks for commenting!
My mom still wears her hair like Sandi with the flip as of 2018!!
Pure bossa nova, pure sweetness.
I looked forward as a child to watch this show every Saturday night. When the "Lennon Sisters" left, which I was sad about, even if I was only 7 at the time, I did not remain sad for long. When Sandi and Salli were hired as replacements for the Lennons, I looked to them as role models and they quickly became my favorites on the show. They were so talented and their blend and phrasing was so exceptional that it seemed as if they were real sisters instead of just best friends. One thing about the Welk show....everybody was indeed like a family and that was because Lawrence himself instilled those values in them. That's why the majority of his performers chose to remain with him for the duration. Sally left after only 4 years because she wanted to go out on her own. But Sandi remained until 1980 then took a "leave of absence" to take care of her young and growing family. Excellent role models for classy women and great looking for the men!
Pura Bossa Nova...
if that is bob ralston accompanying on the organ, i just realised i watched more than i thought!
Yes that's Bob Ralston. Isn't this great, I just Love Sandi Griffiths. Her harmonization is so great. I love Sandi's hair also. She is so pretty.
