Review by Sarfroash Ali

The album "The Land Of Going To Be You'll Recognize My Baby" by Rudy Vallée, accompanied by his Connecticut Yankees, the Singing Boys, and their Novelty Orchestra is a delightful collection of vintage tunes that transport listeners back to a bygone era. The album features Vallée's smooth, crooning vocals, which are perfectly complemented by the lush harmonies and playful instrumentation of his backing band. The Singing Boys add a charming touch to the proceedings, lending their angelic voices to several tracks. The Novelty Orchestra, meanwhile, provides a lively and playful backdrop to the proceedings, making this album a joy to listen to from start to finish. Fans of classic American popular music will surely enjoy "The Land Of Going To Be You'll Recognize My Baby" and appreciate the nostalgic trip back in time that it provides.

A new one for me - much enjoyed, thank you.
Recorded at his final session for Harmony on January 31, 1929. The following week, he began his long association with Victor.
Also released on Velvet Tone 2087-V.
I love anything from Rudy! Classic iconic voice of the period. I may be in the minority on this, but I don't care. I'm transported back in time! The present world melts away!
Recorded on March 5, 1929. Also released on Velvet Tone 2087-V.
This is an Ed Kirkeby studio group; they recorded two sides only.
Ed Kirkeby, Cyril Pitts and Tom Muir are "The Singing Boys". Al Duffy is playing violin; Rollini on bass sax; Pete Pumiglio on clarinet; Stan King on drums; and Tommy Felline on guitar.
Gee, another record with Adrian Rollini.....
Nice hot side and great transfer!
thanks,it sounds really good.as much as i am a record lover i am a phonograph lover more,so maybe a pic of the player your using would be great!
I used a vintage Webster Chicago phonograph from the 1950`s, and the recording is an electrical one. I recorded the audio on my computer using my Dart Pro noise reduction system to filter out much of the surface noise
sounds great, what kind of record player did you use?is that an acoustical or electrical recording?
