Rox Diamond's self-titled album is a true gem of 80s hard rock. The band's sound is reminiscent of classic bands such as Whitesnake and Bon Jovi, but with their own unique flair. The album features powerful vocals from lead singer Paul Daniels, who has a range that can go from soulful ballads to high-energy rockers.
The guitar work on the album is also top-notch, with guitarists Kevin Tetz and Jon Borman delivering some impressive solos and riffs that will have listeners air-guitaring along. The rhythm section, consisting of bassist Jim Manfredonia and drummer Mike Hansen, provides a solid foundation for the band's sound.
The album's standout tracks include "Heart of Mine," a power ballad that showcases Daniels' vocal range, and "Take It to the Limit," a fist-pumping anthem that will have listeners singing along. The album also features a great cover of the classic Thin Lizzy track "Jailbreak," which the band puts their own spin on.
