Review by Robert Redmond

Madonna Sua Rakastin is an album by Finnish singer Reijo Taipale, released in 2000. The album contains 12 tracks, all in Finnish language. The title track, Madonna Sua Rakastin, is a cover of the popular Italian song "Mamma" by Cesare Andrea Bixio.

The album showcases Taipale's smooth and powerful voice, as he croons romantic ballads and upbeat tracks with equal ease. The instrumentation is mostly traditional, with accordion, guitar, and strings providing a warm and nostalgic feel to the music. The arrangements are simple yet effective, allowing the focus to remain on Taipale's vocals.

The album's standout tracks include the lively "Tango Merellä" and the melancholic "Janoon Jäin". The latter features haunting piano and violin parts, and Taipale's emotive singing adds to the song's poignant atmosphere. The album's closing track, "Kultaiset korvarenkaat", is a classic Finnish schlager song, and Taipale delivers it with gusto.
