Review by Marjolein van Diejen

Loaded Come Together is the eighth studio album by the Scottish rock band Primal Scream. Released in 1991, the album marked a shift in the band's sound from their earlier punk and indie rock roots to a more dance-oriented style. The album's title track, "Loaded," became a huge hit and is now considered a classic of the Madchester scene.

The album opens with the pulsating beats of "Movin' On Up," which features gospel-inspired backing vocals and a catchy chorus. "Slip Inside This House" is a trippy, psychedelic track with swirling guitars and dreamy vocals. "Don't Fight It, Feel It" is a euphoric dance anthem with guest vocals from Denise Johnson, while "Higher Than the Sun" is a moody, atmospheric track with a hypnotic bassline.

The standout track on the album is undoubtedly "Loaded," which samples a classic soul track by The 13th Floor Elevators and features guest vocals from Bobby Gillespie's former bandmate, Andrew Innes. The song's infectious groove and uplifting lyrics make it an instant party classic.

Man, this beat was in SOOOOOO many songs, and it never got old.
The World's End!!!!!!!
Loaded is early 90s awesomeness! That killer groove that plays throughout the song is ear candy that grabs hold and refuses to let go. You can't help but shake your hips and your head to it. This is one tune you definitely want stuck in your head for hours/days/weeks etc.
Dope sh***?10 out of 10
The World's End Mates!!
Yes, Im here because I heard that "Solar Power" may have sampled this. Wow...I can agree because this sounds like a sample of George Michael's Freedom as well!!
Sublime sent me.
Solar Power so robbed this funky happy groove it could’ve been unintentional
That Wild Angels sample should be in more songs. It’s a good one. I think I’ll use it in one myself ;-)
Ah..who's the blonde at the very end? ?
Great song. The video reminds me of when a lot of us teens in the 80's wished we lived during the 60's :D
I keep hearing Rolling Stones' Sympathy For The Devil in this. ??
The worlds end
Lorde should be mailing royalty checks to Primal Scream for her "Solar Power" ripoff, lol.
I love Lorde, but there is NO WAY she came across this vibe "organically." I heard she said ya'll gave her your blessing, that's...convenient. I love Solar Power, but this is the original through and through.
This inspired Lorde on her new single, Solar Power. Lorde spoke ... "about the title track from her upcoming album and revealed that it was partially inspired by Primal Scream's 1990 song "Loaded" and not George Michael's "Freedom! '90" as fans had speculated.
We want to be free to do what we wanna do.
