Review by 이하늘 아가씨

The album "ReEmerging" by Phil Keaggy Band is a testament to the enduring talent of its namesake artist. Keaggy's virtuosic guitar playing is on full display throughout the album, as he effortlessly shifts between styles and genres. From the upbeat rock of "Salvation Army Band" to the contemplative balladry of "ReEmerging," Keaggy and his bandmates deliver a diverse and engaging set of songs.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "What a Day," a catchy and upbeat tune that showcases Keaggy's penchant for pop-inflected rock. The song's chorus is particularly memorable, with its soaring harmonies and infectious melody. Another highlight is "The Great Escape," a moody and atmospheric track that features Keaggy's signature guitar work in a more subdued and introspective setting.

I used to have this album but lost it somewhere along the way. I think it was his best besides his first, until Play Thru Me. I really liked this band. My folks saw them over in Newfield, NY, said Phil was a nice boy.
This could totally be the soundtrack to a level of Sonic the Hedgehog!
This was the first Christian record I ever had, back when I was 10 or so. Good memories.
Used to create stopmotion animation to this terrific song!
brings back memories,my first Phil Keaggy cassette
Hallelujah ♡♡
I have only one album, Find Me In These Fields. I had no idea of his long career going way back to 69/70. That's cool!
Great song. Beautiful
For some reason, this album is unavailable for purchase. Christian money lust? Thanks for posting.
A very encouraging and happy melody with some great guitar work as well as the singing. Listening since his first album.
Phil Keaggy had me, a Jewish atheist, listening to Christian rock. He's an awesome guitarist and musician. He inspires me as a guitarist.
CANT WAIT TO JAM WITH THIS BROTHER ON THE OTHER SIDE, WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE!!!!!!!!
At 4:46 begins a guitar solo which may be the holiest instrumental I have ever heard. Tears of praise every time I hear it.
Id like to make the guitar work at the end of this song my ring tone. Except people might want to hear the music conclusion rather than allow me to answer the phone.
It is what is taught by the Apostle Paul and Jesus himself. The church is EMERGING from the false traditional teachings and embracing truth....the truth is the Inclusion of all mankind being redeemed, restored and reconciled back into righteousness (right standing with Father) via the Finished Work of the Christ.
as a gratefull fan for 30 years and a fellow guitatst i am so glad our god has given phil such skill and alacrity...wow!!!! kevin mccaffrey
a great "contemporary christian music" album for 79 ...
The drummer is amazing! PKB on the top of their game.
I doubt that the name was meant to be associated with "emergent" theology of the fallen church today. It is NOT AT ALL what is taught in the Bible. It is a heretical and un-scriptural view that twists and allegorizes the scripture to say that somehow man or the church will make this world fit for Christ to come back. Look around. The opposite is happening. All is proceeding exactly as predicted. The nations are aligned as predicted. this and preterism have infected the church, not helped it.
Great sound
I love the ferocious guitar solo in this.
Bought this on CD but they omitted the final track. What a drag. I liked this band because they could swing.
LOVE
This is really a pinnacle for Phil Keggi I met him several times as I'm from Akron Ohio with a humble man and gospel music
