And to think I was at Newport in July, 1965, when Dylan lugged an electric guitar on stage and his Roadies dragged out two huge speakers that had gotten wet and didn't work, and he did this song. On "Rolling Stone's" Top 500 Rock Songs Ever List, it came in at Number 1, beating out "Stairway to Heaven." In my newspaper column, "Platter Chatter," which covered the Golden Years of Rock, I picked Boston's "More than a Feeling" as a Long Shot to make the List. It trailed the field and came in, out of breath, at Number 500! I did better in Atlantic City playing $5.00 Slots and enjoying a Cheese Steak from the famous White House Sub Shop on Arctic Avenue, where I felt like a Winner even when I lost, because the Casino Bars had friendly Girls almost as pretty as on the Streets of Baltimore on a hot Summer night!
