The Mutton Birds - Angle Of Entry

The Mutton Birds' album "Angle of Entry" was a delightful and introspective addition to their discography. The band's signature sound of jangly guitars and clever lyrics were still present, but there was an added maturity that lent a weight to the songs. The opening track, "Anchor Me," is a standout with its catchy chorus and emotional bridge. Other highlights include the haunting "A Thing Well Made" and the dreamy "Dominion Road." "Angle of Entry" is a great album that showcases the Mutton Birds' growth as musicians and songwriters.

Notes
- An acoustic show recorded live on the Envy Of Angels tour of England on the 7th July 1997.
- 1st pressing (sold at gigs and over the Internet) - around 1000 copies; however, when this run was sold out, an 2nd pressing was made that was missing the track breaks (i.e. there was only one 67-minute long track).
- Comes in a gatefold heavy cardboard sleeve w/insert.
