The album "Meeting" by Modern Soul Band is a fantastic blend of soul, funk, and jazz that will have listeners grooving from start to finish. The band's tight musicianship and the soulful vocals of their lead singer make for a winning combination that is sure to delight fans of these genres.
The album opens with the track "Let's Get It On," a funky tune with a catchy hook and a great groove. The band's horn section shines on this track, adding a jazzy flair to the proceedings. From there, the album moves on to "Love on Top," a slower, more soulful track that showcases the lead singer's impressive vocal range.
Other standout tracks on the album include "Soulful Strut," a funky instrumental that features some impressive guitar work, and "Feeling Good," a classic soul tune that the band puts their own spin on. The album closes with "What's Going On," a cover of the Marvin Gaye classic that the band absolutely nails.
