Review by Anthony Ramirez

The Manhattan Transfer's album, Operator Clap Your Hands, is a delightful blend of jazz, pop, and R&B. The album features a range of upbeat tracks that showcase the group's exceptional vocal harmonies and impressive musicality.

The opening track, "That's Killer Joe," sets the tone for the album with its energetic rhythm and catchy lyrics. "Sing Joy Spring" is another standout track that highlights the group's impressive scatting skills.

The album also features a few slower ballads, such as "Dream Lover" and "The Speak Up Mambo (Cuentame)," which allow the group to showcase their more intimate side.

this is what i want played at my memorial.....
They had a summer replacement show — I guess it was about 1975 — This was their very first number and as they started I'm thinking, "What are these white people doing and how dare they ?" They dared. When they passed the intro, they knocked me to the floor. Been a fan ever since. No group can harmonize like these four.
The applause at beginning is for the previous track Turn Me Loose. When he yells "You wanna hear another one?" at 0'09
long distance call lol
yes very good music.
