Review by Abbey Duncan

Lotus Eaters' latest album, You Don't Need Someone New, is a captivating and introspective collection of tracks that explores themes of heartbreak, self-discovery, and growth. From the opening track, "Back to Me," the band sets the tone for an emotional journey that is both raw and vulnerable.

The album's standout track, "The Last One," is a haunting ballad that showcases the band's ability to craft deeply affecting melodies and lyrics. Lead singer Stephen Coates' vocals are particularly impressive, conveying a sense of longing and regret that is palpable throughout the song.

Other standout tracks include "Love Is Dead," a driving, guitar-driven anthem that explores the pain of lost love, and "The Road to Nowhere," a more introspective track that delves into the complexities of self-discovery and finding one's place in the world.

Lotus Eaters hanno ancora oggi molti estimatori in Italia,io sono tra questi... Grande band
That voice leaves me speechless... ??
why the FOOK would someone downvote this? Does the sound of real musicians scare people?
FANTASTIC! Absolutely Marvellous...
Stunning record, so pure so magical, take me back to 1983 pleeeeeeeaassseeee i hate this world and what its become or am i just facing my near demise and feeling melancholic?
Very, very GREAT EXTENDED VERSION by One of my Very, very FAVOURITE BAND. We love so much the LOTUS EATERS and we don't like that stupid unfair view counter which is an insult to their GREAT TALENT. My GOD, why such talented and great Artists remain in the shadows while pseudo and poor Artists, declared or not, are placed in the spotlight and enjoy a recent and often indecent notoriety, unfairly brought by all new media social that are just boosters or fast celebrity lifts? Where there is no talent or just an embryo ... It's serious!
The magical version.
This track really is something special. Was a huge dance floor hit at The Saint.
I've been visiting this video since January. Addicted!!! Don't understand why this track wasn't more popular... This remix highlights the best parts: chorus/vocals, synths, guitar/strumming.Thanks to SomaFM Underground 80s! ?
Brilliant remix of a record that was never aired on Radio 1
