Review by Jason Lotito

Good Old Rockn Roll is a magnificent collaboration album by Little Richard and Jimi Hendrix. The album features some of the most iconic and timeless rock and roll hits of all time. The album is a testament to the genius of both Little Richard and Jimi Hendrix, who have left an indelible mark on the world of music.

The album opens with the classic hit "Tutti Frutti," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The energy and passion that both Little Richard and Jimi Hendrix bring to the song is palpable, and it is clear that they are having a great time playing together.

The album also features other classic hits such as "Long Tall Sally," "Lucille," and "Good Golly Miss Molly." Each of these tracks is given a fresh new interpretation by Little Richard and Jimi Hendrix, and the result is a truly electrifying listening experience.

April , 1971 recording
The great Little Richard, my favorite singer of all time, .Love him. Thanks for posting, first time I've seen this on youtube.. Peace
If you read Richard's book, it says Jimi on gtr. Recording date unknown. Probably 1965.
this one was cut in April of 1971 for Reprise. Issued in 1972 for ALA Records. Came out in an alternate take in 2005 for Rhino Records.
Another good track from later L. Richard, how he has that powerful energy in him, it's amazing every time, again and again...!
Can’t believe I’m just hearing this! This is fantastic
And we don't need Jimi H. here any more, he was dead when this was recorded and that's that, good track anyway...!
Hendrix was already an exotic blues man by 1965. Recorded w. LR, 1964-1965. Listen also to I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE GOT BUT IT'S GOT ME, the 4:44 version and the alternative version at 4:04 (no harmony vocal); also DANCING ALL AROUND THE WORLD andYOU BETTER STOP, all w JH.
Song recorded about six months after his death.
No way was Hendrix here. This song was cut April of 1971. Hendrix was with LR on his VeeJay recuts (12-64) and probably on the six vocals (HOUND DOG, etc.).
