Review by Carmen Maria Lozano

Kristen Nogues' album Kernelec is a unique blend of electronic and traditional Celtic music. The album consists of ten tracks, each with its own distinct sound and style. The use of electronic beats and synths alongside traditional Celtic instruments such as the fiddle and bagpipes creates a modern and fresh take on the genre.

The opening track, "Kernelec," sets the tone for the album with its driving beats and haunting fiddle melodies. "The Wild Hunt" is a standout track with its pulsing synths and intricate bagpipe solos. "Echoes" is a more subdued track, featuring soft vocals and a gentle guitar melody.
