J C Davis' album, A New Day Is Here at Last Circleville, is a soulful and captivating musical journey. The album is a perfect blend of jazz, funk, and soul that showcases Davis' incredible vocal range and musical prowess. Each track on the album is a unique and refreshing take on traditional jazz and soul music, with Davis' voice soaring over the intricate instrumentation.

The opening track, "A New Day Is Here at Last," sets the tone for the album with its upbeat tempo and infectious groove. The track is followed by "The Look of Love," a sultry and sensual ballad that highlights Davis' ability to infuse emotion into her vocal performance. Other standout tracks on the album include "I Can't Get Started," a jazz classic that Davis makes her own with her stunning vocals, and "Your Love Is All I Need," a funky and upbeat track that will have listeners dancing along.

very beautiful and easy to understand all the tutorials that you present. you're solid. greetings old friend is here.
Woooiowweww??????I have never heard this song. I’m spook sorry that I gave Justin the credit. Now that I know, I will get this message out and make others aware as well. ????❤️❤️
Turns out Timberlake and Will I Am sampled legally, paying and acknowledging Davis on the album. This sample was not lifted wholesale without any acknowledgement, which is what most of the comments are presuming. Please read the court case. The dispute is with another party (not Davis!!), and this party claims to be the legal owner of the sample, but their claim of ownership itself is being hotly contested.
I always thought ‘Damn Girl’ was a standout on the Futuresex/Love Sounds album. They paid for using it, but the main writer wasn’t credited or paid, I believe.
MF DOOM BROUGHT ME EVERYWHERE
Nice surprise
"Damnnnnnnn girl, you're so fine"
"A newwwww day, is here at last"
inb4 justin timberlake comments. Samples exist, people
They are going to settle out of court to save face. That way they will not have the tag attached= stolen from JC Davis asterisk. Like the one attached to Vanilla Ice
Hell Razah...
DOOM!
Great drum sound... Someone should sample that! jking
"daaaaamn girl youre so fine.... ".
Okay I love JT but this is the same song without lyrics...
I do hear the whole instrumental used for "Damn Girl" and the only difference is JT's lyrics on it. However, when you check the credits given in Futuresex/Lovesounds under Damn Girl, J.C. Davis is surely given credit for. I do realize that this is more than a sample since the whole song was used and on top of that the beat was manipulated with back and forth and also the electric guitar was taken out. Although the credit was given I just personally felt like Will.i.am shouldn't have trampled with the beat like that. Will.i.am is nowhere near a decent producer let alone a decent sampler. It's sad cause I've always loved this song and now I've heard the original one, I prefer the original one million times more.
