About Inverted Matter

2007 - Born as CYANIDE CHRIST in Pederobba TV Italy the firt line-up saw: Andrea Tocchetto on guitar, bass and drum machine and Gianluigi Giacon on vocals. A 3 piece demo was recorded 2008 - Enrico Scriminich (of Gorrch) joined the band as the drummer, Daniele Deola (of Chelmo) joined as live bass player and a proper demo was recorded under the name of Inverted. 2010 - Alessandro Scriminich (of Gorrch) joined in on guitar and the first full length was recorded: POINT OF CROSSING a primitive and brutal death metal mix. The album also features two guest solos by Ivan Odorico (ex Slowmotion Apocalypse, Raintime, Fake Idols) on 5.56 and Enuma Elish. The album was released in cassette by canadian label Northen Cold Production. 2015 - THE AGE OF HARVEST the second full length was released under Grind House Music in CD and Digital format. It received positive reviews in Italy and abroad. Soon after Enrico and Alessandro left the band to focus on their project Gorrch. INVERTED contacted Michael Smith (ex Suffocation) to record drums for a new album. 2016 - Leonardo Langaro (ex Wargore, Sinatras, Kani) joined as session musician to record bass and Jason Nealy (of Bleeding Eyes, Mad Fellaz) joined as guitarist. By the end of the fall, recordings for the third full length Detach were completed. The name evolved in .
