Review by Alice Elwood

Internal Putrefaction's album, What Prophets Foretold, is a brutal display of death metal mastery. The band's technical proficiency and sheer intensity are on full display throughout the album's 10 tracks. From the thunderous opening of "Ominous Omens" to the crushing outro of "The Final Hour," Internal Putrefaction delivers a relentless barrage of riffs and blast beats that will leave listeners breathless.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Apocalyptic Visions," which features some of the most intricate guitar work on the album. The track builds to a crushing crescendo, with drummer John Smith delivering some truly awe-inspiring fills and double bass patterns. Another highlight is "Chaos Reigns," which features some of the band's most memorable riffs and a truly epic chorus.
