Heard it before checking it again!!!
This was that album that gave Dame dash’s humble early beginnings as a music manager, to only a dope influential and not to mention, intellectual rap duo before their time who basically was kept underground unfortunately but basically still influenced the likes of more pushed main stream quirky rap groups at that time such as Black sheep, KMD the UMCs, Zhigge and many more from a lyrical and deliverable standpoint. Loved these guys. This is the hip hop I grew up to.
Thanks for posting this.... They were a a slept on duo... This was released the same day (April 7 1992) as Das Efx Dead Serious Album.... So this is probably why it didn't get the hype it should have.
This is not a good album, but What's a Bro to do is some dope production...
Dame Dash did the Management for this album!!!
One of the most influential album of all.of all of hip hop
According to the DJ Clark Kent interview on Juan Ep, this is what Dame played to him when they first met in a meeting at Atlantic records.
thanks!
I have haven't heard this in a long time but I got it on tape..cool album..shame it's only one album still I give more props to YouTube and hip-hop classics ?
This album takes me back to a certain period in my life. I banged to this heavy. Great memories .
For me, this is the most slept on/underrated album in Hip Hop history. We needed more albums like these...
