Fight Amp - Black Tusk Fight Amp

Review by David Corle

The album Black Tusk Fight Amp by Fight Amp is a raw and intense experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners. As the band's third full-length release, it showcases their ability to blend elements of sludge, punk, and metal into a cohesive and powerful sound.

From the opening track "Bad Listener" to the closing "Creeping Waves," the album is a relentless assault on the senses. The guitars are heavy and distorted, the drums are thunderous, and the vocals are raw and aggressive. The band's energy and intensity are palpable throughout, making it easy to get swept up in the chaos.

While the album is certainly not for the faint of heart, it is also not without its moments of subtlety and nuance. Tracks like "Survival Is Strange" and "No Trace" showcase the band's ability to craft complex and dynamic arrangements that keep the listener engaged.
