Satanic, the latest album by Ernie Krivda & Friends, is a stunning tribute to the genius of composer and pianist Thelonious Monk. Krivda, a veteran saxophonist known for his fiery and expressive playing, leads a stellar group of musicians through a set of Monk's most iconic tunes, including "Round Midnight," "Ruby, My Dear," and "Straight, No Chaser."

From the opening notes of "In Walked Bud," Krivda's saxophone takes center stage, weaving intricate melodies and soulful improvisations around the band's tight rhythm section.
