Review by Marc Patsula

Enguerrand Friedrich Lühl's album Requiem Vauban is a hauntingly beautiful piece of music that showcases the composer's mastery of the classical genre. The album features the Ensemble Orchestral Ellipses and Chœurs Sur Seine, whose performances are nothing short of exceptional.

The album opens with the solemn and majestic "Introit," which sets the tone for the rest of the work. The following tracks, including the "Kyrie" and "Dies Irae," are equally powerful and moving, with the choir and orchestra working together seamlessly to create a sense of grandeur and drama.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Offertorium," which features a stunning solo performance by mezzo-soprano Marie Lenormand. Her voice is rich and emotive, perfectly capturing the mournful spirit of the piece.
