Big Big Train - English Electric

English Electric by Big Big Train is a stunning album that showcases the band's exceptional musicianship and storytelling abilities. The album is a perfect blend of progressive rock and folk-inspired melodies that transport the listener to a different world.
The opening track, "The First Rebreather," sets the tone for the album with its soaring vocals, intricate guitar riffs, and powerful drumming. The song is a perfect example of the band's ability to weave complex musical arrangements with evocative lyrics.
Other standout tracks on the album include "Uncle Jack," a poignant song about a soldier's experiences during World War I, and "The Permanent Way," an epic piece that tells the story of the construction of the British railway system.
